iPhoneDevCamp at Capacity

iPhoneDevCamp 2 has reached capacity more than 2 weeks prior to the event. iPhoneDevCamp is an upcoming not-for-profit gathering to develop applications for iPhone and iPod touch using both the native SDK and web standards. The second annual event, which will be held at Adobe Systems in San Francisco, will focus on both native application and web app development and features a 2-day “hackathon”. At this point they’re still accepting applications should space open up, so if you are serious about attending you should check out www.iphonedevcamp.org.

As described on their website, “Attendees will include Cocoa Touch developers, web developers, UI designers, and testers, all working together over the weekend. Development projects will include both solo and team efforts.”

iPhone Microsites is excited to take part in the event, both as a sponsor and a participant. We’ll also be providing daily updates from the event and recording material for an upcoming podcast. Stay tuned to our website for coverage from the event.

In light of the overwhelming response from attendees, the organizers have setup satellites to help spread the word by transmitting audio and video feeds, and are also looking for volunteers. Check out http://www.iphonedevcamp.org/satellites/ for more information.

Thanks to Raven and the whole iPhoneDevCamp team for undertaking this challenge, we wish them success in their endeavors.
