For the technically inclined, Sitepen published an article today from Neil Roberts which covers touches and gesturing on the iPhone. In the article, he discusses his tests with the new APIs, which support drag and drop with touch, resize and rotate with gestures.

The demo video below highlights a “simple application that showcases the incredible flexibility and power of these APIs. It’s a simple gray square that can have its colors and borders restyled, can be dragged around, and can be resized and rotated.”

While the example may be “simple”, these capabilities open up many new presentation applications for web based delivery of content to the iPhone. Check out the full article here.
